The north of the Costa Blanca is the coastline that stretches from Denia, in the north, to the city of Alicante, in the center of the province. An area where the sea and mountains merge perfectly and form an exceptionally beautiful landscape, dotted with spectacular cliffs and charming little bays, but where you can also find great white sand beaches.
The tourist development of this part of the Spanish coast began in the early 60’s of the last century, which is why this area has an established service infrastructure and an excellent communications network. The international airport of Alicante is one of the busiest airports in Spain and is perfectly connected by road to the main tourist areas of the north of the Costa Blanca, such as Benidorm, Villajoyosa, Altea, Calpe, Javea and Denia.
The offer of houses in the north of the Costa Blanca is characterized by the high level of quality. Although there are differences between one city and another, the northern Costa Blanca is considered a residential tourism area. The prices of the houses are higher than in the south of the Costa Blanca, including many independent villas in mountainous areas with spectacular sea views. It is the apartments that make up most of the offer of houses located directly on the beach, in cities such as Benidorm, Altea or Calpe.
What else does the Costa Blanca offer besides a beautiful coastal strip? A spectacular interior with sand plains and salt flats in the south. High mountains by the sea in the north, steep cliffs and carefully constructed farming.
